We must develop effective measures of tariff and pension policy – Social Fund head

Osh, Aug.23, 2019 /Kabar/. A meeting on the reform of insurance tariffs and pension policy with the participation of Kyrgyzstan’s Social Fund’s Chairman Meder Irsaliyev took place in Osh city.
The event was also attended by Deputy Mayor of Osh Nurbek Kadyrov, representatives of the city's social services, accountants and residents.
"At the end of December 2018, the Social Affairs Committee of the Jogorku Kenesh adopted a resolution on the establishment of a working group to review the current tariff and pension policies. The working group included Parliament members, representatives of non-governmental organizations, specialists of the Government of Kyrgyzstan," Chairman Irsaliyev said.
This working group has developed a plan of measures from 4 stages on improvement of insurance issues, consideration of tariff policy, pension policy, policy of national components till May of the current year.
All proposals will be considered by the working group and proposed to the Jogorku Kenesh.
"We must develop effective measures of tariff and pension policies, including for those working in the private sector. Undoubtedly, the tariffs should be reduced," concluded the Social Fund chairman.
