AKIPRESS.COM - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan commented on reports about raping of the Kazakh woman by police officers of Russia, Kazakh media reported. "The General Consulate of Kazakhstan has sent a written letter to the Main Directorate of the Ministry of the Interior of Russia in Sverdlovsk region with the request to provide information about the committed crime. The woman herself had not sought help from the Consulate. In this regard, it is impossible to confirm or reject her citizenship of Kazakhstan yet," official representative of the MFA Aibek Smadiyarov reported.
Reports about the rape appeared on Russian social media. The crime was committed in half-built waste ground with garages on the night of August 17. The woman was reportedly detained by police, when she was leaving the sauna. Reasons for detantion is not known. According to reports, the woman is a sex worker. She has no citizenship of Russia, but she is reported as a native of Kazakhstan.
According to the Russian media, police officers caught her and raped in the car.
The men were detained by self-security management staff of the police department on Sverdlovsk region.
