Working group on probation visits south of Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Aug.24, 2019. /Kabar/. The Interdepartmental working group made a working visit to Osh, Jalal-Abad and Batken Oblasts, the press service of Kyrgyzstan’s Justice Ministry reported.
Deputy Minister of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic Marat Kanulkulov, employees of the ministry and the State Service for Execution of Punishments (SSEP) under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic took part in this visit.
During the visit, members of the working group visited the territorial justice departments and the territorial offices of the corrective services of the SSEP to get acquainted with their activities and the state of their offices in order to prepare for the establishment of probation bodies within the Ministry of Justice.
The Interdepartmental working group also conducted explanatory work with the staff of the SSEP Department of Corrective Services on the transfer of functions of this Department to the Ministry of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic.
