Kyrgyzstan receives certificate of quality from American Association for Laboratory Accreditation

AKIPRESS.COM - The Center for Quality Control of Laboratory Diagnostics of Infectious Diseases of Kyrgyzstan of Kyrgyzstan received a certificate of quality from the U.S. first in Central Asia, the Ministry of Health reported. The national Center passed the test in the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA).
The Centre said that accreditation means quality and competency of the organization on international stanards.
A2LA is the only independent, non-profit, internationally-recognized accreditation body in the United States that offer a full range of comprehensive laboratory and laboratory-related accreditation services.
Established in 1978 as a non-profit, public service membership society, A2LA is dedicated to the formal recognition of competent testing and calibration laboratories, inspection bodies, proficiency testing providers, and reference material producers. A2LA offers three main service lines to support recognition of competence in laboratory and laboratory-related industries.
The Center for Quality Control of Laboratory Diagnostics of Infectious Diseases of Kyrgyzstan is the first medical structure in Central Asia, which has passed the A2LA assessment.
