Ex-Deputy Interior Minister’s driver arrested

AKIPRESS.COM - Driver of the former Interior Minister of Kyrgyzstan Kursan Asanov is suspected of complicity in power abuse, the press serevice of the General Prosecutor's Office told AKIpress. During the investigation on August 23, Paizylda uulu Damirbek was placed in the detention center of the Bishkek police on suspicion of complicity in illegal handover of documents to the allies of Almazbek Atambayev and other subjects important for the criminal probe.
To date, investigation is underway. All others involved in the crime are being established.
