Attorney Sergey Slesarev complains on absence of victim party in hearings

AKIPRESS.COM - The Lenin district court on August 26 continued the process on former mayors of Bishkek Kubanychbek Kulmatov and Albek Ibraimov. During the session, attorney Sergey Slesarev claimed that the court hearings should be held with participation of the victime party to make sure everything goes unbiased.
"We are lacking the offended party JSC Dastan in the proceedings. To make everything clear, we need the cross-cutting questions from the victime party," he said.
The state prosecutor in turn said that the hearing can be held without the victim party.
The jugde asked to provide the presence of the victim party in the process.
Ex-mayors are suspected of corruption in construction of a school in Kalys-Ordo residential area by spending the money of the DASTAN JSC and illegally providing a municipal land.
