Slate production plant for KGS 350 mln built in Batken Oblast

Osh, Aug.26, 2019 /Kabar/. The construction of the plant for the production of slate in Kyzyl-Kiya town, Batken Oblast has moved to the active stage, the area of the plant will be about 3 thousand 800 square meters.
Its opening will contribute to the creation of new jobs and the economic development of the region. Domestic investors have started construction of the plant worth KGS 350 million. For this purpose, the Mayor's Office allocated 4 hectares of land and the plant will produce 3 million pieces of slate per year. Jobs will be provided to 120 local residents.
The products of this plant will have a great demand, as the products can be sold not only in Batken Oblast, but also in Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
