Kyrgyz, Russian doctors perform jointly 7 operations for cancer patients in 2 days

Bishkek, Aug.26, 2019. /Kabar/. Doctors of Osh Inter-Oblast United Clinical Hospital together with their colleague from Russia’s Nizhny Novgorod Andrey Seregin performed 7 operations on cancer patients on Aug. 23-24.
Seregin is the Head of the Department of X-ray Surgical Methods of Diagnostics and Treatment of the Federal State Budget Institution (FBUZ) of Russia.
Thus, 7 operations were performed jointly within 2 days:
- Transcatheter arterial chemoembolization of hepatic artery to 5 patients,
- Diagnosis of arteriovenous malformation of the lower limbs,
- Stenting of intrahepatic bile ducts according to the X-method, in the case of bile duct cancer, which was carried out for the first time in Kyrgyzstan.
