Footballer from Kyrgyzstan in Russian national team for UEFA Euro 2020 qualification matches

Bishkek, Aug.27, 2019./Kabar/. The coaching staff of the Russian national football team has published a list of players, called to prepare for qualifying matches for the 2020 European Football Championship.
A total of 26 athletes are on the list, including one from Kyrgyzstan, Ilzat Akhmetov.
The Russian team will play with Scotland on Sep. 6, then on Sep. 9 with a team from Kazakhstan.
Ilzat Akhmetov is a Russian professional footballer of Uyghur descent who plays as an attacking midfielder for PFC CSKA Moscow.
The 2020 UEFA European Football Championship, commonly referred to as UEFA Euro 2020 or simply Euro 2020, is scheduled to be the 16th UEFA European Championship, the quadrennial international men's football championship of Europe organized by UEFA.
