Heavy security rolled out in Kyrgyzstan due to holidays

Bishkek, Aug. 27, 2019. / Kabar /. Since Aug. 30, heavy security rolled out in Kyrgyzstan due to celebration of the Independence Day and upcoming international events, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
A meeting of the internal affairs bodies of the Bishkek garrison took place on Aug. 27 in the Old Square of the capital in front of the Government House.
The training meeting of police units has become traditional and is carried out to test the readiness of police officers to perform services and to fulfill their duties to protect public order and the safety of citizens.
During the festivities in the capital and other cities, the entire personnel of the internal affairs bodies and people's volunteers will be involved in protecting public order and ensuring public order.
Particular attention will be paid to ensuring security in the squares, parks of Bishkek and Osh in the adjacent territories of residential areas, as well as during celebrations in regional, district centers, and settlements of the republic.
