Uzbekistan increases fines for forced labor 10 times

AKIPRESS.COM - Uzbekistan will increase fines for forced labor in any form, CA-News reports. The Senate of Uzbekistan has adopted the amendments to the Administrative Liability Code, which significantly increase fines for forced labor.
The fine was raised from 1-3 minimum salaries to 10-30 minimum salaries. Repeated forced labor will be fined with 30-100 minimum salaries.
Involving minors into forced labor will be fined with 30-50 minimum salaries and repeated involvement of minors into forced labor will be punished with 50-100 minimum salaries.
