Ex-Deputy Interior Minister of Kyrgyzstan sentenced to house arrest

AKIPRESS.COM - Former Deputy Minister of Interior of Kyrgyzstan Kursan Asanov has been put under house arrest until October 13. The verdict was voiced by Pervomay district court on August 27.
Asanov told reporters that he does not agree with charges filed against him and believes in justice.
In terms of negotiations with Almazbek Atambayev, the former Interior Minister said he made the negotiations timely.
To the journalists' question if Minister of Intreior may be interested in this case, Asanov said that he "left the conscience of him".
He also said that he signed a document on non-disclosure of confidentiality of the investigation.
