Kyrgyz deputy foreign minister’s meeting with reps of Georgian ministries

Bishkek, Aug.28, 2019. /Kabar/. Meeting of Kyrgyz delegation, led by Deputy Foreign Minister Azizbek Madmarov, with number of ministries and department of Georgia took place yesterday, Aug. 27 as part of the II Kyrgyz-Georgian Inter-ministerial Consultations, the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry said.
At the meeting with Deputy Minister of Environment Protection and Agriculture of Georgia Yuri Nozadze, the parties identified specific areas of cooperation, including assistance in the supply of seedlings of elite grape varieties for the production of wines, suitable for climatic conditions of Kyrgyzstan.
The sides also agreed to establish cooperation in the development of animal husbandry and seed production. The Georgian side expressed interest in transferring the experience in establishing agricultural cooperatives and large farms.
The Kyrgyz delegation and Georgian Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Giorgi Vashakidze discussed the prospects of cooperation in the sphere of higher and vocational education, in particular, the importance of mutual provision of quota places for Kyrgyz and Georgian students in the higher educational institutions of the two countries, as well as exchange of relevant educational programs and methodologies was noted.
Georgian First Deputy Head of the Department of Tourism Rusudan Mamatsashvili noted successful cooperation with the Kyrgyz side in the development of tourism.
The parties focused on the activation of joint actions in this direction, including through the organization of cross-round press tours and tourist forums.
