Doctors note positive dynamics in medical state of injured Chui region police chief

AKIPRESS.COM - The medical state of Chui region police chief Samat Kurmankulov remains critical, but doctors note a positive dynamics, the Ministry of Health said. Breathing function and neurological signs are restoring. The necessary medical treatment is provided, the Ministry said.
Kurmankulov received severe brain injuries during the failed attempt to storm the residence of ex-President Almazbek Atambayev on August 7 in Koi-Tash. He underwent two surgeries. On August 12, Kurmankulov was transported to the Burdenko Neurosurgery Center in Moscow.
