Son of ex-Deputy Interior Minister Kursan Asanov wanted

AKIPRESS.COM - The General Prosecutor's Office of Kyrgyzstan said that assistant of the former Interior Minister Kursan Asanov handed over material evidences to the allies of Almazbek Atambayev through Muhammed-Ali Asanov. Notification of suspicion of crime was handed to Kursan Asanov on August 27. On the same day, his son M. Asanov born in 1997 on suspicion of complicity in illegal transfer of documents and other items was imposed a pre-trial restraint in absentia and declared wanted, the press release of the General Prosecutor's Office says.
On August 23, driver of Kursan Asanov Damirbek Paizylda uulu was detained on suspicion of complicity in illegal handover of documents and other items related to the investigation on Atambayev's case.
To date, the military prosecutor's office continues investigation of illegal actions of Kursan Asanov on August 7-8 in the village of Koi-Tash.
