Asian volleyball champions solemnly greeted in south of Kyrgyzstan

Osh, Aug.29, 2019 /Kabar/. Nurmukhammed Toktobai uulu and Kutman Absatarov, players of Kyrgyzstan's national volleyball team, were solemnly greeted at the Osh International Airport on Aug. 28.
Employees of the Osh City Committee for Physical Culture and Sports, relatives and coaches of athletes met the champions.
During the event, volleyball players were put on and chepken (Kyrgyz ethnic garb) and kalpak (Kyrgyz national headgear).
Note that, the Kyrgyz national volleyball team took part in the Asian Championship, which was held in Kathmandu (Nepal).
In the first round the Kyrgyz volleyball players won teams from Nepal and Maldives with a score of 3:0. In the semi-finals, the Kyrgyz team met with volleyball players from Turkmenistan.
As a result, the match ended with a score of 3:0 in favor of the Kyrgyz team. In the final, the national team defeated the team from Uzbekistan 3-0.
