PM Abylgaziev holds meeting with Governors of country

Bishkek, Aug.29, 2019. /Kabar/. Kyrgyz Prime Minister Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziev held meeting with Governors and demanded to strengthen the work on the development of regions for better implementation of government programs.
During the meeting, the prime minister drew the attention of the oblast’s heads to the need to carry out a deeper study of the issues and strengthen the work on attracting investments, launching new production facilities, creating jobs, solving social problems, developing irrigation and providing the population with clean drinking water, the Government's press service said.
"Often our citizens in the regions are left without due attention from the local authorities in solving their most urgent problems. You have to ensure well-coordinated and operative work, because the welfare of this or that region depends on it, the solution of important social and economic issues. We continue to delegate to the local authorities so that they can promptly solve the problems of citizens on the ground. The Government is implementing a whole range of measures for the development of the regions - in recent years a record number of social facilities have been built and are being built in the regions, infrastructure projects are being implemented. And your initiatives are of great importance in this large-scale work," Abylgaziev said.
PM Abylgaziev stressed the importance of effective interaction between Governors and financial institutions, such as the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund, the Guarantee Fund OJSC, Aiyl Bank OJSC and RSK Bank OJSC.
"There is need to strengthen the work on KGS 2 billion, allocated from the republican budget for business projects so that they are mastered as efficiently as possible. We will also allocate a significant part of the funds that come to Kyrgyzstan from Centerra under the new terms of cooperation to the development of the regions," Abylgaziev said.
He instructed to intensify work to promote the bill, aimed at strengthening the powers of heads of local state administrations.
