About 1.5 thsd children in Kyrgyzstan brought out of difficult living situation

Bishkek, Aug.29, 2019. /Kabar/. Since the beginning of the current year, the Ministry of Labour and Social Development of the Kyrgyz Republic has brought 1 thousand 499 children out of a difficult life situation, the press service of the ministry reported.
Thus, 41 children were referred to foster families, 123 to rehabilitation and day care centers, and 265 children from residential childcare institution were returned to biological families (family reunification). A total of 313 children were adopted. Of these, 1 child was adopted by foreign nationals.
Tutorship and guardianship have been established over 806 children. Birth certificates were restored for 427 children.
Also, 406 families were brought out of a difficult life situation since the beginning of the year.
According to the ministry's information, 244 families are assigned benefits for children on low income, 76 were provided with rehabilitation services, 199 were employed and 103 were sent for vocational training. Assistance was provided to 184 citizens in obtaining a passport and to 6 families in obtaining a microcredit.
