Jeenbekov: We will regain Bishkek former glory of green city

Bishkek, Aug.30, 2019. /Kabar/. "We will regain Bishkek the former glory of the green city," Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov said at the opening of new park in southern part of Bishkek.
The press service of the Kyrgyz President reported that Sooronbay Jeenbekov congratulated Bishkek residents and guests of the capital on a remarkable event in the life of the city.
President Jeenbekov thanked the workers and builders and all those who were involved in the construction of the park.
"Unfortunately, in recent years we have lost the title of green city. During the heating period, smog appears above the capital. All this is the result of the lack of the city’s green policy, planned development of the capital. The city of Bishkek has an amazing geographical location, ecology and beautiful nature. The construction policy in the capital city will be completely revised," Jeenbekov emphasized.
The President also shared plans for the construction of health and sports complexes, business centers and other infrastructure in the upper zone of Bishkek.
The capsule for the construction of this park was laid in April 2019.
