Vice PM Altynai Omurzakova meets with authors of state flag of Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - Vice Prime Minister Altynai Omurzakova has met with authors of the state flag of Kyrgyzstan Edil Aidarbekov, Bekbosun Jaichybekov and Jusup Matayev, the government's press service said. The meeting was held on the eve of celebrations of the 28th anniversary of independence of the country.
Omurzakova congratulated the authors on this occasion and underlined their contribution to strengthening of independence of Kyrgyzstan.
The state flag authors thanked the government for attention. "We are proud every time, when the flag of Kyrgyzstan raises high. This is a proud not because we are authors, but because it is a symbol of our country," they said.
The talks also addressed the issues of providing government support to the authors for their contribution.
Kyrgyzstan marks the Independence Day on August 31.
