Space agency established in Uzbekistan

AKIPRESS.COM - President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev on August 30 signed the order on development of space activities. The Space Research and Technologies Agency Uzbek Space will be established, Gazeta.uz reports. The Uzbek Space Agency will be responsible for development and implementation of the uniform policy and strategic areas in space research and technologies. One of its main tasks include development of space industry infrastructure, space research, designing, innovative projects.
The Agency should prepare the road map for development of space industry for until 2020 by November 1.
