Talas and Issyk-Kul regions discuss cooperation issues in Osh

AKIPRESS.COM - Osh mayor's office hosted round table discussions with the participation of Talas and Issyk-Kul region consisted of first vice-mayor of Osh Saibjan Turduyev, representatives of Osh government, elderlies, labor veterans and society within the "Friendship Caravan" inter-regional project on August 31. The development issues of bilateral ties, cooperation in strengthening of friendly relations, increasing joint potential as a part of strengthening interaction in social-economic, cultural, tourist and other spheres were discussed at the meeting.
The meeting participants presented reports and shared opinions and proposals on development of ties among regions, outlined the joint cooperation in the various spheres.
Talas and Issyk-Kul delegations were represented by employees of government in the regions, heads of regional and village councils, public figures, media, youth committees, veterans councils and others.
The guests from two regions visited historical-cultural sites of ancient Osh city, familiarized with social-economic achievements in development of city infrastructure, as well as participated in festive events dedicated to 28th anniversary of Independence Day of Kyrgyzstan.
