Sporting events in Kyrgyzstan scheduled for September

Bishkek, Sept.2, 2019. /Kabar/. Kabar News Agency presents a list of sporting events scheduled for September.
From Aug.31 to Sept.4 Cholpon-Ata town, Issyk-Kul Oblast hosts Cup of Kyrgyzstan’s Association of Futsal international tournament. Eight teams take part in the competition.
10 domestic judokas will perform at the Asian and Oceania Adult Championships in Atyrau, Kazakhstan, to be held on Sept. 3-11.
Bishkek residents on Sept. 3-6 will be able to visit the International Archery Competitions in memory of Tabyldy Egemberdiyev at the Omurzakov Stadium.
On Sept. 5, the Kyrgyz national football team will play against Tajikistan as part of the World Cup 2022 and Asian Cup 2023 qualifying rounds. The match will take place at the Dushanbe Stadium.
II Festival of National Sports and Games of the CIS member states will be held in Cholpon-Ata on Sept. 5-6.
On Sept. 7-22, Kyrgyz boxers will perform at the World Championships in Yekaterinburg (Russia). Kyrgyzstan will be represented by six athletes, including Asian champion Azat Usenaliyev.
Kaba uulu Kojomkul Sports Palace on Sept. 7 will host the Republican Greco-Roman and Freestyle Wrestling Tournament among veterans (from 35 to 60 years old).
The World Wrestling Championship will be held in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan on Sept. 14-22. Free, Greco-Roman-style wrestlers will demonstrate their strength in the competition, as well as women's team.
On Sept. 15, Bishkek will host the Safe the Snow Leopard first international charity race. Part of the funds from the initial contributions of the half-marathon participants will be directed to the Global Snow Leopard and Ecosystem Protection Program (GSLEP).
The qualifying tournament for the 2020 Asian Youth Championship is scheduled to be held at the Omurzakov Stadium on Sept.18-22. Players under the age of 16 will take part in the tournament.
On Sept. 24-30, Tokyo (Japan) will host the Power Lifting World Cup. During the competition the licenses for the XVI Paralympics will be drawn. Kyrgyzstan will be represented by three athletes.
