Ambassador Dzhunusov takes part in celebration of 28th anniversary of Uzbekistan's independence

Bishkek, Sept.2, 2019. /Kabar/. Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Uzbekistan Ibrahim Dzhunusov and his wife took part in the solemn event to mark the 28th anniversary of Uzbekistan's independence.
The festive event was held at the Uzbekistan Palace of International Forums with the participation of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, representatives of state and public organizations, members of parliament, government and diplomatic corps, the press service of the Kyrgyz Embassy in Uzbekistan reported.
During the event, Mirziyoyev delivered a congratulatory speech and congratulated the participants of the event and citizens of Uzbekistan on Independence Day. The celebration continued with a concert performed by masters of art and young artists.
On Sept. 1 of this year, Dzhunusov and the Embassy staff took part in folk festivities, in the framework of which the head of the diplomatic mission held meetings with representatives of ethnic Kyrgyz living in Uzbekistan, attended a festive concert and an exhibition of applied arts.
The event was organized by the Committee on Interethnic Relations and Friendly Ties with Foreign Countries under the Cabinet of Ministers and the National Cultural Centers of Uzbekistan.
