Bishkek, Sept.2, 2019. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan’s Deputy Prime Minister Jenish Razakov participated in opening ceremony of new school named after Kasym Tynystanov in Chyrpykty village, Issyk-Kul Oblast.
The Government’s press service reported that the deputy prime minister took part in the solemn event, devoted to Knowledge Day and congratulated schoolchildren, teachers on the successful beginning of the new school year.
"Knowledge Day is a symbol of discovery and success. Today, one of the pressing and important issues facing the state, society and parents is the issue of providing the younger generation with a decent education and upbringing," Razakov said.
According to his data, 2026 schools are currently connected to the Internet, which is 94.7%. The list of 157 educational institutions (111 schools, 10 additional new buildings, 24 kindergartens, 11 gyms) has been approved this year for construction of buildings.
Jenish Razakov on behalf of the Government presented the school authorities with a certificate for the purchase of computer equipment kits.
Construction works at the secondary school in Chyrpykty village were started in 2008, but suspended due to lack of funding. Construction was resumed in 2017. KGS 63 million were financed from the republican budget. The educational institution is designed for 324 pupils.
