Ex-Ombudsman of Kazakhstan appointed as assistant to Dariga Nazarbayeva

AKIPRESS.COM - Former Ombudsman of Kazakhstan Askar Shakirov became assistant to Speaker of the Senate Dariga Nazarbayeva, Sputnik Kazakhstan reported. He was appointed to this position at the proposal of Nazarbayeva.
Some 46 members of the Parliament voted for the proposal.
Elvira Azimova replaced Askar Shadiyev in the post of Ombudsman of Kazakhstan on September 2 at the session of the Senate.
