Bishkek, Sept.3, 2019. /Kabar/. Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Chingiz Aidarbekov received Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Kyrgyzstan Komil Rashidov on the occasion of completion his diplomatic mission.
The press service of the Foreign Ministry said that during the meeting the sides discussed pressing issues on the bilateral agenda of Kyrgyz-Uzbek relations, implementation of previously reached agreements at the level of heads of state.
Special attention were paid to the organization of high-level visits, holding regular meetings of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Bilateral Cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, the Council of Heads of Border Areas under the chairmanship of heads of Government of the two countries.
The parties expressed their firm intention to work together to further expand and deepen the historical relations between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan on the basis of friendship, good neighborliness, mutually beneficial cooperation and strategic partnership.
Aidarbekov thanked Rashidov for his fruitful work and personal contribution to the development of Kyrgyz-Uzbek relations and wished him success in further labor activity.
Ambassador Rashidov expressed gratitude for the joint productive interaction during his diplomatic service in Kyrgyzstan.
Note that, Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Komil Rashidov on Aug.27, 2019 has been appointed Advisor to Uzbekistan’s Prime Minister and Head of the Department for the Protection of Rights and Support of Uzbek Citizens Engaged inTemporary Labour Abroad.
