Interior Minister confirms policeman who intervened in case of brutal beating in Bishkek is suspects' relative

AKIPRESS.COM - Interior Minister Kashkar Junushaliyev has confirmed that a policeman, who intervened in the case of a brutal beating of men in Bishkek, is the main suspects' relative.
Speaking at the session of the parliament committee for law and order on Sept 3, Junushaliyev said this case is under his personal control. Official investigation into interference of the police officer in the case is under way.
The Lenin district prosecutor's office reported earlier that the Chui region police officer arrived at the scene of the brutal beating and took away 2 suspects from the scene abusing his powers.
Probe into attempted murder was launched and the two suspects, Janybek Bapyshov, born in 1985, and Kalysbek Seyitbekov, born in 1999, were declared wanted after they brutally beat up two men in Bishkek on September 2 morning. The brutal beating was caught on CCTV camera.
