Second day of protest in Janaozen: About 100 people waitning for President's respond on construction of Chinese plants

AKIPRESS.COM - About 500 people gathered today at the central square of the city of Janaozen, Mangistau region, lada.kz reported. According to the report, they are protesting against construction of 55 Chinese plants on the territory of Kazakhstan.
Residents of Janaozen expressed their outrage over "empty promises" of authorities. According to the demonstrators, they will be gathering at the square everyday until they receive the exact respond on construction of the Chinese plants from the President of the country.
After a dialogue with the protesters, governor of the region received the citizens on their personal questions.
At a moment, mayor of the city Adilbek Dauylbayev is holding talks with the locals.
