Bishkek, Sept.3, 2019. /Kabar/. As part of his working trip to Naryn Oblast, Kyrgyzstan’s Parliament Speaker Dastanbek Dzumabekov participated in the opening of school named after Taalaibek Kurtkayev in Mantysh village of Kochkor region, the press service of the Parliament reported.
The construction of the 280-seats school has been funded through the Assanabil charitable foundation and personal donations of Taalaibek Kurtkayev's family, in whose honor the educational institution was named. The one-storey building of the school is built with all modern conditions.
"I believe that the contribution to education is the best investment in the future of the country, as the population is the main asset of any state. We hope that among the graduates of this school there will be those who continue to work for the development of the country," Dzhumabekov said.
The speaker presented the school administration with a certificate for computer sets. He noted that there are about 126 thousand teachers in Kyrgyzstan.
"The development of the regions depends not only on the government or parliament, but also on each of Kyrgyzstanis. New schools and social facilities are being opened in many oblasts and small and medium-sized enterprises are being built. Not long ago President Sooronbay Jeenbekov paid working trip to Naryn Oblast and took part in the opening of a new milk processing plant. The Parliamentary in turn passes laws to improve the social sector," Dzhumabekov said.
