Policeman, suspect's brother, who intervened in case of brutal beating in Bishkek fired from police, 2 other officers relieved from posts

AKIPRESS.COM - A Major of police was fired for intervention into the case of brutal beating of men in Bishkek, the Interior Ministry said.
The major, a suspect's brother, arrived on the scene and took away the suspects from the fight scene, in which 1 was beaten to coma and another one was hospitalized in critical condition. 2 other police investigators were dismissed from posts.
Official investigation is under way. The brother of the suspect, having abused his official powers, is suspected of concealment of crime.
Probe into attempted murder was launched and the two suspects, Janybek Bapyshov, born in 1985, and Kalysbek Seyitbekov, born in 1999, were declared wanted after they brutally beat up two men in Bishkek on September 2 morning. The brutal beating was caught on CCTV camera.
The video showing one of the men kicking a lying man in the face several times sparked public outrage. The fact that a policeman, who arrived on the scene and took away his relatives, the suspects, from the scene poured additional fuel into the situation.
