142 patients waiting in line for free hemodialysis service in Kyrgyzstan — Ministry of Health

AKIPRESS.COM - Some 142 patients are waiting for their turn to receive free hemodialysis services, Deputy Minister of Health of Kyrgyzstan Madamin Karatayev told a press conference in Bishkek. According to him, citizens can join the queue and get the code on the website of the Ministry.
Prior to a resolution of the government, hemodialysis procedures on budget and on privileged basis in Kyrgyzstan were provided to 1,510 people, including:
- 604 patients for free;
- 283 patients as part of public-private partnership;
- 203 patients in private centers;
- 118 patients in budget organizations. Privileged hemodialysis services are offered to 764 people. After government's resolution, free services will be offered to everyone," he said.
Deputy Chairman of the Compulsory Health Insurance Fund Akylbek Kalykov noted that today 60,851 sessions are covered.
"To pay for hemodialysis service on privileged basis to undergo 101,702 sessions, 478,000 som are provided in the approved budget for 2019, and now 286,000 som have been funded in fact for these purposes. All these money will be paid by the government," he noted.
