Kazakhstan produces 59.8 million tons of oil since Jan 2019

AKIPRESS.COM - Within 8 months of this year, Kazakhstan has produced 59.8 million tons of oil, including 36 million tons at three oil refineries - Kashagan, Karachaganak and Tengiz, Minister of Energy Kanat Bozumbayev told on Thursday at the extended meeting on development of oil sector in Atyrau region, Vlast.kz reports.
The oil processing factories increased their capacity and depth of oil processing, he noted.
According to him, the volume of oil processing in the given period amounted to 11.2 million tons with the growth by 6% than last year. Production of oil products on petroleum was 14.3%, diesel fuel - 9,6%, aviation fuel - 212%.
The Minister said the growth of oil products has influenced the retail market, where reduction of prices was observed for petroleum since the beginning of 2019.
