Integration processes of CIS financial markets discussed in Bishkek

Bishkek, Sept.5, 2019. /Kabar/. A joint conference of the Association of Eurasian Central Securities Depositories (AECSD) and the International Association of CIS Exchanges (IAE CIS) entitled "Integration Processes in Financial Markets: Eurasia and the Global Economy" took place in Bishkek with the participation of executives and leading experts in the field of exchange and depository activities from the CIS countries and beyond.
In particular, the international conference was attended by heads and representatives of central depositories and exchanges, such countries as Armenia, Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Georgia, Iran, South Korea, China, Turkey and many others, as well as representatives of international settlement and clearing organizations, news agencies, regulators and SWIFT.
The main purpose of the event is to share useful knowledge, ideas, skills and experience.
During the conference the sides discussed key issues of financial markets integration, related to the activities of exchanges, central depositories, regulators and other participants, as well as interaction with infrastructure organizations and regulators, issues of international relations, harmonization of standards, the latest trends in the post-trading industry, changes in financial markets and the use of new technologies.
Note that, such a format of the conference is annually held in different cities of AECSD and IAE CIS countries and attracts increased interest of the international financial community.
The conference was organized by the Association of Eurasian Central Securities Depositories, Central Securities Depository CJSC, International Association of CIS Exchanges and Kyrgyz Stock Exchange CJSC.
