Atambayev’s attorneys start studying criminal case on crime boss Batukayev

AKIPRESS.COM - Defense lawyers of Almazbek Atambayev began examining the criminal case on illegal release of the crime boss Aziz Batukayev, attorney Sergey Slesarev told AKIpress on September 6. According to him, familiarization with the case started from September 5, but on the next day on September 6, the attorneys were notified that they are delaying the process.
"They established a deadline until September 11, so we have to study a 27-volume criminal case, that are not even fully completed by the prosecution, by that day. This is a violation of the process. We will appeal to the Pervomay district court," Slesarev noted.
The attorney said that Atambayev feels good.
He added that the former President was surprised that the prosecution by doing so is trying to press on the defense to make sign the protocol.
