Solemn reception in Turkish capital on occasion of Kyrgyzstan's Independence Day

Bishkek, Sept.9, 2019. /Kabar/. The solemn reception, dedicated to the 28th anniversary of Kyrgyzstan’s independence, took place in Turkey’s Ankara, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reported.
The event was attended by Turkey’s Minister of Sports and Youth Mehmet Kasapoglu, Chief Advisor to Turkish President Yalchın Topchu, members of the Turkish Parliament, led by Head of the Inter-Parliamentary Group of Friendship of Kyrgyzstan and Turkey Sabri Ozturk, TIKA President Serkan Kayalar, Turkey’s Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism Serdar Cham, ambassadors accredited in Ankara, heads of other cities, representatives of ministries and departments of Turkey, heads of international and public organizations, business structures, Kyrgyz students, representatives of the media, as well as representatives of Kyrgyzstani’s Diaspora, living in Turkey.
Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Turkey Kubanychbek Omuraliyev and Turkish Minister of Sports and Youth Mehmet Kasapoglu made welcoming speeches.
In his speech, Ambassador Omuraliyev noted the dynamics of bilateral cooperation, as well as the importance of developing the existing bilateral strategic cooperation.
In turn, Kasapoglu noted from the moment of independence of Kyrgyzstan to the present day Turkey supports a brotherly and friendly country in democratic and economic development.
Within the framework of the event, pictures and reproductions of Kyrgyz nature were presented to the attention of the guests, as well as videos about Kyrgyzstan.
