Students of Bishkek capture 5 medals at Int’l Olympiad of Metropolises in Moscow

Bishkek, Sept.9, 2019. /Kabar/. Pupils of Bishkek schools won prizes at the IV International Olympiad of Metropolises, which was held on Sept. 1-6 in Moscow at the initiative of Mayor Sergey Sobyanin.
The press service of the Bishkek Mayor’s Office said that the students competed with teams of 45 cities from 32 countries in mathematics, computer science, physics and chemistry.
As a result, the students won 5 bronze and 1 silver medals, among them Mirkhad Chekirbayev, Ruslan Kadyrov, Temirlan Kydyraliyev, Dautbek Atabekov, Urmat Abdykerimov, and Vladislav Belyayev.
In the team classification, they took the 3rd place.
Note that, the International Olympiad of Metropolises for schoolchildren from the largest cities and capitals of the world is held for the fourth time already.
