Tashkent, Sept. 10. 2019. / Kabar /. Taskent Tobacco enterprise recently sent to Kyrgyzstan 7.5 million pieces of excisable products from the third production line of the factory, launched at the expense of the Japanese company JTI, according to Narodnoe Slovo newspaper of Uzbekistan.
A few days before, with the participation of Uzbek journalists and bloggers, the packaging process of the first goods sent to Kyrgyzstan was held. Journalists and bloggers personally signed on the boxes, which were immediately sent to Kyrgyzstan. After some time, the goods were delivered to a region located in the Issyk-Kul valley and a presentation of the start of export of Uzbek products was held.
During the ceremony, JTI Director General for Central Asia and Kazakhstan, Yevgeny Nikolsky, noted that the company opened in Uzbekistan over the past nine months has produced 800 million pieces of excisable trademarks. As a result, over the next two years, tax revenues will amount to 150 billion soums. The company also created about 300 jobs.
"Today, the total investment volume of our project is $ 40 million. By the end of the year, we also plan to launch another line," he said.
The enterprise plans to increase the number of types and volumes of manufactured goods in the future. "By the end of this year, we plan to increase the export of goods upto $ 4.5 million," said Pulat Saidov, director of Taskent Tobacco.
