Growth in Kazakhstan in 8 months was 4.3%: PM Mamin

AKIPRESS.COM - GDP growth in Kazakhstan in January-August 2019 was 4.3%, Prime Minister of the country Askar Mamin said. According to him, a positive dynamics is observed in construction - by 11.8%, trade - 7.6%, transport - 5.5%, agriculture - 3.6%, communication service - 3.4%, processing sector, including in engineering - 18%, light industry - 17.4%, oil processing - 6.2%, the press service of the government reported.
Inflation is preserved at the level of 0.2% for the third year.
The average nominal income of the population in January-May 2019 was 486,000 tenge increasing by 10.8% compared to the same period of last year.
Mamin noted the economic growth on basic indicators in Atyrau, Karaganda, Kyzylorda, Turkestan, East Kazakhstan and North Kazakhstan regions.
During the government session, he ordered to handle the current situation with construction, investments, industry, agriculture and housing that wend down in Mangistau, Kyzylorda, West Kazakhstan region and the cities of Nur-Sultan and Shymkent.
The state budget income within 8 months amounted to 6,958.3 billion tenge (101.1% of plan), growth made 119.2%.
