Kyrgyz FM meets with Honorary Consuls of foreign states accredited in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Sept. 10, 2019. / Kabar /. Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Chingiz Aidarbekov met in Bishkek with Honorary Consuls of foreign states accredited in the Kyrgyz Republic.
The meeting participants discussed issues of cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Honorary Consuls of foreign countries in the economic, cultural, humanitarian and social fields, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
An open exchange of views took place on the development and implementation of joint projects.
Aidarbekov noted that the Ministry is changing approaches to working with Honorary Consuls. "The Institute of Honorary Consuls is important for effective interaction with foreign countries. You are important communication agents with the states you represent," the minister said.
As a result of the discussions, the issue of developing a joint action plan, as well as the joint implementation of a socially significant project, was agreed.
