Population and housing census to be held in e-format

AKIPRESS.COM - The National Statistics Committee of Kyrgyzstan developed software for mobile app to conduct population and housing census 2020 in e-format. This app was tested in a pilot census in Tokmok town and Kum-Bel village council of the Issyk-Kul district.
The results of pilot census showed that quality of obtained data has improved, time for processing information has been reduced and it has become possible to quickly identify and correct errors.
It was decided to conduct a full-scale census of the population and housing of the Kyrgyzstan 2020 from March 23 to April 1 using a mobile app using mobile phones of census takers.
