Bishkek, Sept.10, 2019. /Kabar/. Deputy Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Jenish Razakov took part in the regular meeting of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) Council, held in Moscow, Russia.
The Government’s press service said that the meeting focused on the functioning of the domestic market, customs regulation, industry, cooperation in trade and the elimination of technical barriers to mutual trade.
The meeting participants discussed the issue of norms of distribution of amounts of import customs duties between the budgets of the EAEU member states.
For Kyrgyzstan the share of distribution is fixed at 1.90%, for Armenia at 1.22%, and for the other three member states the norms will be determined during the upcoming talks.
At the meeting, the EEC Council members approved a draft statement of the members of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council on the occasion of the entry into force of the Agreement on Trade and Economic Cooperation between the Eurasian Economic Union and its member states, on the one hand, and the People's Republic of China, on the other, concluded on May 17, 2018 at the Astana Economic Forum.
In addition, the draft Decision of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council "On the main directions of international activity of the EAEU for 2020" was approved. This document has been drafted in order to develop cooperation with third countries, regional integration associations and international organizations, interaction with which is of mutual economic interest.
The Job Without Borders unified system was also discussed. As a result of this project, users of the system (job seekers and employers) will be given the opportunity to choose one or more member states, in the territories of which it is required to carry out a job search or staff selection, to form a universal search query to the national information systems of the respective member states, to get access to information, as well as opportunity for interactive engagement.
The Council members approved the agenda of the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Union to be held on Oct. 1, 2019 in Yerevan (Armenia).
