Kyrgyz-Chinese border to be temporarily closed

Checkpoints on the Kyrgyz-Chinese section of the state border will be temporarily closed at the initiative of the Chinese side in connection with the celebration of the traditional Moon Festival in China. Public Relations and Media Department of the State Border Service of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
Passage of persons, vehicles and goods will be suspended from September 13 through September 15 at Torugart and Irkeshtam checkpoints. They will resume work on September 16.
