AKIPRESS.COM - The national statistics committee of Kyrgyzstan provided a short comparative study of inflation level in consumer sector of the economies of the Eurasian Economic Union member states for August 2019.
The study reveals growth of prices and tariffs in Kyrgyzstan (by 0.03%) and Kazakhstan (0.2%) during the reported period compared to July 2019.
Reduction in prices and tariffs was observed in all other countries of the EAEU.
Maximum inflation rate (3%) in the consumer sector was in Kazakhstan this August compared to December 2018. Prices and tariffs for food products in Kazakhstan this August increased by 6.1%, non-food goods - by 2.9% than in December 2018.
The highest growth in prices and tariffs among members states was seen in Belarus - by 5.1%.
