Students of Anatolian school system in Bishkek to get acquainted with Aitmatov’s homeland

Bishkek, Sept.1, 2019. /Kabar/. Kyrgyz Parliament Speaker Dastanbek Dzhumabekov took part in the event, dedicated to acquaintance of students of Turkish Anatolian schools with Chyngyz Aitmatov's homeland.
Note that, 40 students from Turkish Anatolian schools (secondary schools, which differ from the standard teaching in foreign languages) came to Bishkek to participate in such an important event and get acquainted with the traditions and customs of Kyrgyzstan
A seminar entitled "Students of the Anatolian School in the homeland of Chyngyz Aitmatov", dedicated to the life and work of the great Kyrgyz writer, took place at the Manas Kyrgyz-Turkish University.
"It is gratifying that today's young people are interested in and look in a new way at the life and work of Chyngyz Aitmatov, who is considered the writer of the entire Turkic people. Our future is in the hands of young people. Therefore, young people play a great role in strengthening interstate relations and interethnic friendship between the two countries," the speaker said.
He added there is a strong and close relationship between Kyrgyzstan and Turkey in all areas, based on mutual benefit and partnership. "Our relationship has developed historically," he added.
At the end of his speech, Dastanbek Dzhumabekov wished the students success in their studies, new discoveries and continuous improvement of their knowledge.
The seminar, dedicated to the works of Chyngyz Aitmatov, was also attended by representatives of ministries, scientists and cultural figures.
