Ex-chief of Ivolga agroholding suspected of fraud in Kazakhstan

AKIPRESS.COM - Former CEO of Ivolga Holding LLP, one of the richest businessmen in Kazakhstan, Vasily Rozinov is suspected of fraud, media report. The criminal probe against Rozinov was brought to the Kostanay regional court on September 6, 2019.
The main court hearing was scheduled for September 17, 2019, the court's press service reported.
Ivolga Holding LLP was the largest Kazakh agro-industrial group of companies. It was founded in 1992 as a small grain-trading business by Vasily Rozinov. The Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) in 2016 filed a bankruptcy claim against Ivolga for debts. But the court did not recognize Ivolga as a bankrupt.
Later, Director General of the company has changed. In 2018, the company terminated its operation.
Rozinov himself was in top 50 richest businessmen of the country.
