Nur-Sultan to host UNWTO Global Summit on Urban Tourism for first time

AKIPRESS.COM - The 8th UNWTO Global Summit on Urban Tourism will be held in the city of Nur-Sultan on October 9-11, the press service of the city municipality reported. As part of the event organized by the city administration and the UNWTO, participants will discuss such issues as sustainable development, accessibility, urban management, innovation and technology. In addition, they will pay attention to the tourism in a special agenda.
The program of the summit will also include panel sessions, roundtable discussions and working group meetings devoted to the unequal distribution of tourist flows, leakage of skilled personel, migration, unemployment and security issues.
Organizors also planned master classes on industry of meetings from the UNWTO Academy and the International Congress and Convention Association.
The event is expected to be attended by more than 700 delegations from 30 countries of the world.
