Domestic producers receive about 10 thsd preferential loans

Bishkek, Sept.12, 2019. /Kabar/. Domestic producers received about 10 thousand preferential loans, the press service of the Ministry of Finance of Kyrgyzstan said.
Under the Agricultural Finance 7 Project, 9 thousand 823 preferential loans were granted to domestic producers.
According to the data of the State Agency for Budget Loans Management under the Finance Ministry, as of Sept. 6, 2019 within the framework of the Financing of Agriculture – 7 project commercial banks granted 9 thousand 823 soft loans worth KGS 4 billion 854.5 million.
Of these, 2 thousand 793 soft loans worth KGS 1 billion 96.4 million were issued for crop production, while 6 thousand 737 soft loans worth KGS 2 billion 606.3 were issued for animal husbandry, 293 soft loans for the total amount of KGS 1 billion151.7 were allocated for processing and services.
As part of this project, during 2019, financial resources of commercial banks and financial institutions will be provided at a preferential interest rate (at 6, 8 and 10% per annum) to business entities and individuals of the Kyrgyz Republic for the development of crop production, animal husbandry and processing of agricultural products.
