Bishkek, Sept.12, 2019. /Kabar/. Today, Sept.12 Kyrgyz leader Sooronbay Jeenbekov received Ambassador of Japan to Kyrgyzstan Yoshihiro Yamamura on the occasion of completion of his diplomatic mission.
The President expressed gratitude to the Japanese ambassador for his personal contribution to the development of the Kyrgyz-Japanese relations, based on mutual trust and respect, his press service said.
"Kyrgyzstan pays special attention to the comprehensive development of bilateral relations with Japan. Over the years, we have managed to strengthen and expand mutually beneficial cooperation. Japan has provided grant, credit and technical assistance to Kyrgyzstan to promote democratic values. I express my gratitude on behalf of all the Kyrgyz people," President Jeenbekov said.
Yoshihiro Yamamura thanked the President for warm welcome, noting during all the years of his diplomatic mission in Kyrgyzstan he felt the support and good altitude of the Kyrgyz people and governmental authority.
He gave a brief account of his ambassadorial, stressing that the One Village, One Product JICA project is now being implemented not only in the Issyk-Kul Oblast, but also in all regions of the country.
Jeenbekov and Yamamura discussed political, trade and economic, inter-parliamentary, diplomatic, social and economic and cultural-humanitarian cooperation between the two countries.
