Delegation of Uzbekistan partakes in 42nd session of UN Human Rights Council

AKIPRESS.COM - The delegation of Uzbekistan led by National Human Rights center Director Akmal Saidov is participating in the 42nd regular session of the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva, CA-News reports. The Uzbek delegation held talks with Indian Deputy Minister of External Affairs Jaswant Singh; Lu Guangjin, Director General of the Department of Human Rights of China's State Council Information Office; OIC Independent Permanent Human Rights Commission Executive Director Marghoob Butt. The issues related to the Tashkent seminar on youth rights this October were discussed at the meetings.
The meetings were also held with the Envoys of Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Armenia.
